It has been a great joy to build and sell musical instruments and make music for the past 12 years. For the time being, however, I’m taking a reprieve from making Native American flutes and kanteles. And my pyrography, spoon carving and fan bird making is also in abeyance for now.
Painting has become my focus — particularly through the past year of the Covid-19 pandemic. While I have painted with watercolors and enjoyed urban sketching during my many travels for the past 3 years, I am now enjoying painting with oils in the plein air (outside on location) tradition. When weather or crowds does not permit, I am indoors painting scenes where I have notes, memories and photographs.
You can find my paintings at Unique Notions in High Springs and Gainesville or online at JudyRobinson.art
Hi Judy. Thanks for dropping by my site. I have built dulcimers in the past. Now I make made-ups with little stories to go with them. We actually will be having songs by the QuickTurtle Band in the near future. I love what you are doing. Hope it provides both spiritual and financial sustenance. Be happy to follow your journey.

Hi Richard, Like the oxymoron “quick turtle”. Looked for your dulcimers on your site, but guess the turtle has taken over the domain. Look forward to hearing the Quick Turtle Band. Thanks for your good cheer!
