La Boqueria is an interesting market in Barcelona. With a range of fruits, vegetables, meats, sweets, spices, olives and people, I could spend a day wandering through it and just looking and taking photographs.
On this particular visit, we were on a mission to purchase cheese, bread, grapes and other interesting items for celebrating New Year’s Eve.
We walked from Cheryl’s flat down Las Ramblas which is an interesting pedestrian street in itself — as you can see below. Also check this blog post — a good read on Walking in Barcelona.
Thanks, Miriam. Glad to hear you enjoyed the post. Indeed the cheese and olives were enough to make me want to go back for more. It is a very vibrant market — like no other I’ve been in. Thanks for your comment on the music — I wrote it about two years ago and thought it was a great fit for the video! – Judy

Judy, what a delightful post. I have walked Las Ramblas but La Boqueria was a wonderful surprise and I thank you for posting it. Such delight for the eyes, the colours are better than any palette. The music to your video makes it even more Spanish.
I bet that with so much fresh food available there will be wonderful meals at your place.
