McIntosh 1890 Festival on Oct. 22

What have I created from branches from this limb?

Looking for a fun Saturday activity with food, music, and the opportunity to purchase crafts for holiday gift giving?

The McIntosh 1890 Festival is the event for you. The festival is Saturday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in historic McIntosh, Florida. The event is free with more than 280 vendors — and one of those vendors is WrenSong Woods.

I’ll be selling my WrenSong Native American style flutes and WrenSong kanteles. With each musical instrument, you receive a music book that I’ve created to help you play and care for your flute or kantele.

My carved wooden spoons — created with axe and knife — are a great holiday gift.

When you visit the WrenSong Woods tent, you’ll see the wooden items I’ve created from branches from this limb that I found in the woods. Come see what the branches have transformed into.

The festival will be held in Van Ness Park, 5835 Avenue G in McIntosh. McIntosh is about a 30-minute drive from Gainesville. Hope to see you there on Saturday.
