I have been working on tuning and turning flutes lately and was looking for a reason to change the pace. So, when my new camera arrived in the mail this morning, I decided to turn something where I could record the whole process and make a photo essay. But ultimately it was more fun to make the video with still images because I could include the kantele and Native American style flute playing as my audio track.
I’m loving the pendants that are turning out. Made from hickory, cedar, spalted magnolia and spalted maple, each one is unique. With each finished pendant or pin, I think “Oh, I really like this one. I’ll keep it.” But really, they need to be put into my Etsy store. You can read more about what inspires the pyrography on the pendants.
