The Florida Earthskills gathering in Hawthorne was a step back in time to remember the many skills that people used to have to create their own homes, food and clothing – without construction companies, grocery stories and malls that many of us count on today.
Instructors had their classes gathered under tents or trees to receive instructions and typically to try out skills.
After creating my didgideroo and making some initial attempts to play it, I explored the other work groups to see what they were doing.
